Holden House is a friendly family-run Guest House, offering superior riverside accommodation in Shardlow, Derbyshire.
Situated on the banks of the River Trent, this 18th Century, Grade II Listed Building, offers six beautiful en-suite bedrooms with towels and complimentary toiletries included.
All rooms have Smart Tv, free Wifi and tea and coffee making facilities, for your comfort.​
Having been refurbished to a very high standard, the bedrooms are in-keeping with that home away from home feel.
THE TEAM
The guest house is owned and run by sisters Anna & Yulia and their husbands Andy & Boris who in 2018 decided to escape their hectic urban lives in Manchester & London and fell in love with Holden House and the beautiful village of Shardlow. We love our new lives and we are passionate to share our happiness with our guests by providing a true home away from home feel whilst visiting Holden House.
SHARDLOW
Shardlow is one of the last remaining 18th century inland port villages with many walking & cycling trails. It boasts some excellent cask ale pubs as well as an Indian and Chinese restaurant. All these bars and restaurants are within walking distance of Holden House so you can leave your car and relax. Shardlow also has great transport links to the A50, M1 and a 24/7 hour shuttle bus service to Derby and East Midlands Airport.
