About Holden House
Holden House, built at the end of the 18th Century as the Holden Arms Public House near to the Trent and Mersey canal, is a Grade II listed building within the Shardlow Conservation area created in 1970.
Holden House is a friendly family run Bed and Breakfast/Guest House offering quality accommodation on the banks of the river Trent. All bedrooms are en-suite with colour television and radio, plus tea and coffee making facilities. Towels are provided.
It is a Grade II listed Georgian House on the banks of the river Trent and adjacent to the Trent/Mersey Canal system and the Shardlow Conservation Area. We aim to give a high quality service, to enable our guests to have an enjoyable stay, with thoughts that they will visit us time and time again.
As already mentioned, Holden House is a family run Bed & Breakfast run by Anna and Andy.
